Issie Connell talk about the Australian Wildlife Conservancy

The Contributive Society alongside Ocean Ambassadors gave a talk to 50 Unicorn School Children, aged 8 to 12 years old.

The talk was delivered by Issie Connell, the grand-niece of Martin Copley (1940 – 30 July 2014), founder of the largest conservation initiative private charity with 16 million acres in Australia the Australian Wildlife Conservancy (AWC). The organisation purchases and manages large areas of land, mainly former pastoral properties, as nature reserves (called "sanctuaries") for the conservation of biodiversity.[1].

This demonstrates the power and passion of a single enlightened person.

The children asked interesting searching questions and we intend to take these initiatives further an example of which is enabling the Australian Wildlife Conservation Trust to have a talk at RAC Club coming on the 15th November 2022.
